I had so much fun tonight doing an informal reading of the first draft of what is currently called "President Mom" by Dan Marshall and Becca Anderson. It's not often I get asked to play 14-year-old girls. Thanks to my friend Charissa Bertels for inviting me to play! It was a joyful evening!
Yesterday, I again had the great pleasure of doing a reading of Geoffrey Hillback's play Romeo and Juliet PS. I played the Receptionist again, a fantastic role! Geoffrey had made some edits since the last reading a few months ago, and the play is even better now (though it wasn't too shabby to begin with)! I hope this play continues to grow and gets produced many times! No matter what happens, I am honored to have been a part of the first two readings. Keep an eye out for this play at festivals in the next few years! I think this play will be going places!
