Old News, New News

Remember 2020? Ah, what a vintage. The only paid performing I did that year was as a vocalist for the score of an audio drama podcast called Motel Evil. My awesome brother Dani Berkov-Hopkins composed the score and called me in (which in 2020 meant, record to my phone while singing under a heavy blanket in my room) to do a Christmas carol which he then made creepy AF to fit with the Motel Evil theme. I’m uncredited, but you can hear me singing in the title theme if you give the podcast a listen (here). You can find out more about Motel Evil on their IMDB page, and find out more about my composer-extraordinaire brother on his personal page here.

So that was the old news. The new news, besides the fact that I moved my website piece by piece from one web hosting platform to another (ugh), is that there is movement behind the scenes with turning my play Florence the Firefly into an animated video! I have found an amazing illustrator and animator and we’re making it happen! We’ll need to do some fundraising soon but it’s happening, people, it’s happening. Stay tuned…
